Joshua
Joshua still isn't crawling yet, but he is getting very close. He's kinda crawled a couple times but gives up quickly. Last night he was trying to pull himself up to a standing position. The problem was that he was in the middle of taking a bath. Bathtubs are not the best place to learn how to stand. I was watching him closely and he gots his legs under him while holding on to the side of his tub. After a bit of grunting, he managed to straighten his legs while still holding the sides. When he got to that position, he didn't know what to do next. I helped him back down before he did a face-plant into the water.
He is starting to notice music more often and likes to bounce his along with it. As my mom stated, "I didn't know 'Old McDonald' was a head-banging song."
I love his laugh. Especially when he is in a good mood and anything you do sets him off. He has also started blowing spit-bubbles and making raspberry sounds. Usually it's pretty funny, but not so much when he does it during a sermon at church. I told the pastor afterward that it wasn't any indication of Josh's opinion. The pastor said he didn't mind, as long as it isn't the elders doing it during his sermon.
