Sore. So sore.
But all moved in! Thanks to all who helped, we really appreciate it. We had more packed into that apartment than I thought! Now comes the unpacking part....ick.
For those that haven't heard yet, while we were at the apartment loading up the truck, the delivery guys show up to drop off the washer and drier. Yes, at the APARTMENT! They screwed up the billing address and the delivery address. "Can't you just drive another mile down the road?" "Nope, we'd have to reschedule it."
I don't have time to go into the details, but after much angst, we did get the washer and drier down into the basement and hooked up. We got our delivery fee back (since *they* were also supposed to hook it up) and we got another $50 back when we complained to Sears. They contract a company to delivery for them. Hopefully Sears can find someone else with better customer service.
I don't know what John and Carrie got for us as a house warming gift, but I know it is nice! (Inside joke.)

Sorry I missed it. My Saturday was a wash with pain and misery ... mostly for the spectators, but I understand that my words, "you'd be surprised" about the amount of stuff that you have apparently didn't come into focus until you moved it.
I'm happy for you all. Perhaps in a week things will be ... slower, better, less travel, more sleep, better attnetion.
